Associate Degree – 2 Years – Requires High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Most commonly received from Community Colleges and Technical Schools, this is a degree that is granted after an individual completes an undergraduate course in college for two years.

These 2-year programs may provide the necessary training to prepare students for entry-level positions in fields like management, graphic design and other vocational areas. Bachelors Degree – 4 Years – Requires Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED

After an individual graduates with a two-year Associate Degree course, they are eligible to complete the Bachelor Degree program which takes four years to complete, though it can take up to 6 years if you live outside of the U.S. or attend school part time. A bachelor’s degree is also required for admittance into a graduate degree program. The different types of degrees available in a bachelor’s degree program include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS)

Also considered an Undergraduate Degree, there are hundreds of concentrations you can choose to major in, including:

  • Architecture
  • Business Administration
  • Child Psychology
  • Criminal Justice
  • Communications
  • Economics
  • Mass Media

Once you have received your Undergraduate Bachelor Degree, you can move in to further your education even more. Most people usually conclude their higher education once they graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, but others move onward, and so shall we.

Masters Degree – 2 Years on average – Requires Bachelor’s Degree

This degree is awarded after an individual completes a course that could range anywhere from 1 to 4 years, allowing them to specialize in a particular area of study. Enrolling in a master’s degree program usually requires a minimum GPA and an acceptance score on a graduate entrance exam, such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). In addition, many master’s degree programs require a thesis or capstone project for graduation.

The most common degree programs available at the master’s level include the following:

  • Master of Science (M.S.)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
  • Master of Arts (M.A.)

Earning a master’s degree may qualify graduates to work in advanced or executive-level positions. A master’s degree is also required for entrance into some doctoral programs. We offer a wide variety of Majors, which include:

Doctorate Degree – 2 years or more – Commonly requires a Master’s Degree

Is there a Doctor in the house?  Well, there is now!  Also known as a Ph.D. program, a Doctoral degree is considered the highest an individual will have to study after obtaining the Masters Degree.  Along with the prestige of graduating with a Ph.D., students can expect to finalize a dissertation and a major research project. Medical-related doctoral programs may even have students complete hands-on clinical hours with real patients during the final years of the program. You may have heard of these types of Doctorate Degrees:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.)
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
  • Doctor of Education (EdD)

Ph.D. graduates are qualified to work as experts in their fields, which are not limited to:

  • Professors
  • Accounting
  • Architecture
  • Adult Education
